Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what personal data Giantrex LLC ("Giantrex", "we", "us") collects when you use our website, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. If anything here is unclear, contact us at hello@giantrex.net.

1. Who we are

Giantrex LLC operates the Giantrex website and its Game Development and Software Development divisions. For any privacy question, or to exercise any of the rights below, email us at hello@giantrex.net. Our registered address is Cairo, Egypt.

2. What we collect

We only collect data you give us or that is needed to run the site:

  • Account details — if you register: your name, email address, optional company name, and a securely hashed password.
  • Enquiries & project briefs — when you use a contact form, request a quote, or complete the project-scoping questionnaire: your name, email, optional phone and company, and the answers you provide.
  • Bookings — if you book a call: your name, email, phone, and any notes you add.
  • Newsletter & resource downloads — the email address (and name where asked) you provide to subscribe or to download a resource.
  • Technical data — to keep the site secure and working, our servers record your IP address and browser type against your login session, and we use a strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in.
  • Usage statistics — only if you allow analytics cookies: how the site is used, through Google Analytics 4 (see section 7).

We do not store card or payment-card numbers on our own servers, and we do not use advertising trackers on this site. The only third-party analytics we use is Google Analytics, and only with your consent.

3. Why we use it (lawful basis)

  • To provide the service you asked for — answer your enquiry, prepare a brief, manage your account or booking (performance of a contract / your request).
  • To keep the site secure and prevent abuse, such as rate-limiting and session security (our legitimate interest).
  • To send you a newsletter or resource you asked for (your consent — you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To understand which pages and tools help visitors and improve the site, with Google Analytics (your consent, given in the cookie banner: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and, for visitors in Germany, § 25(1) TDDDG, formerly TTDSG — you can withdraw it at any time).
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations where they apply (legal obligation).

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site, and only as far as needed:

  • Our hosting and email-delivery providers, who process data on our behalf.
  • Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), which runs Google Analytics for us as our processor, only if you allow analytics cookies. Google may process this data in the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
  • Embedded media: pages with a video may load a player from YouTube, which can set its own cookies once you press play. Links to WhatsApp and our social profiles take you to those third parties, who handle your data under their own policies.

5. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Account data is kept while your account is active; enquiry and contact data is retained for a limited period and then removed. Google Analytics statistics are kept for at most 14 months. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time (see below).

6. Your rights

You can, at any time:

  • Access & portability — download a machine-readable copy of the personal data tied to your account from Account → “Download my data”. You can also request a copy by email.
  • Deletion — permanently delete your account and personal data from Account → “Delete account”, or by contacting us.
  • Correction — update your name and company details from your account, or ask us to correct anything else.
  • Withdraw consent — unsubscribe from the newsletter, switch analytics off under “Cookie settings”, or withdraw any other consent you gave, without affecting anything done beforehand.
  • Complain — if you are in the EU/UK, you may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Registered users can use the self-service tools on the account page. For anything else, email hello@giantrex.net.

7. Cookies

We use a single strictly necessary cookie to keep you securely signed in. It is not used for advertising or tracking. Your cookie choice itself is saved in your browser's storage so we don't ask again. Embedded third-party media (such as a YouTube video) may set its own cookies if you interact with it.

Google Analytics 4. If you switch on “Analytics” in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to see how the site is used. Until you do, Google's script is not loaded and nothing is sent to Google. With your consent it collects the pages you visit, the site that sent you, your device, browser and screen size, an approximate location (country and city), and actions such as starting or sending a form, using the calculator or stack builder, or downloading a resource. It never receives what you type into a form (your name, email, phone, company or message). IP addresses are anonymised: Google Analytics 4 does not log or store them. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID>, which expire after up to 2 years. Ads features are switched off.

You can withdraw your consent at any time under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page, or here: . Analytics stops at once and its cookies are deleted.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Please check back periodically.
