How We Work

From Brief to First Sprint in 14 Days

Every project follows the same battle-tested checklist. Transparency from day one — you always know what's happening and what's coming next.

Day 1

Output: Meeting recording + GDD review

Meet the team, review the game design document or VR brief, align on vision, platforms, and target audience.

Day 1–2

Output: Project repo + asset inventory

Review existing assets, art style references, engine version, and third-party SDKs. Set up Unity/Unreal project.

Day 2–4

Output: Playable prototype build

Build a grey-box prototype of the core mechanic or VR interaction. Test on target hardware.

Day 4–5

Output: Style guide document

Finalise art style, colour palette, UI kit, and character/environment style guide with the art team.

Day 5–7

Output: Level blockout (greybox)

Design the first level or VR scene layout. Block out geometry, lighting, and interaction zones.

Day 7–8

Output: Milestone roadmap

Define milestones: Alpha, Beta, Gold. Map deliverables to each milestone with QA gates.

Day 8–10

Output: Systems running in-engine

Implement core game systems: input, physics, UI framework, save/load, networking (if multiplayer).

Day 10–12

Output: Art-pass build

Replace grey-box with production art for the first level/scene. Add VFX, lighting, and audio placeholders.

Day 12–14

Output: Playtest report + bug list

Internal playtest of the vertical slice. Gather feedback on feel, performance, and immersion. Bug triage.

Day 14

Output: Delivery cadence confirmed

Establish the bi-weekly milestone rhythm: build → playtest → feedback → iterate. Weekly progress updates.
